Created in 2003, the mission of ILP Seattle is to provide guidance to young adults aged 13 to 25 years-old on how to transition out of the foster care system successfully to become thriving, independent, capable adults.

ILP Seattle is an independent project developed with the collaborative assistance of Casey Family Programs, Treehouse, YMCA Transitions, YMCA's Independent Living Program and Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Division of Children and Family Services, Region IV.

A special acknowledgement to Beth Kolko, Lon-Marie Walton and Tom Williams for their advisement.
