Sexual orientation

1. Should my doctor know my sexual orientation?
Yes. Your doctor should know your sexual orientation in order to serve you better. Homosexuals have a greater risk
for some illnesses than heterosexuals and vice versa. Doctors don't judge you. They want to help you stay healthy so don't be afraid to tell them.

2. What is a transexual?
Transsexuals identify so strongly with the other gender (biological females who identify as men and vice versa) that they change their bodies, through hormones and sometimes surgery, to look and feel more like the other sex. They may be straight, lesbian, gay, or bisexual.
